Background & Accomplishments
Dan Baylard received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law. During this time, he was a member of the UMKC Law Review as well as a regular on the dean’s list. Dan attended the University of Missouri – Columbia for his undergraduate degree where he received a B.S. in Business Administration and Management.
He has appeared in State and Federal Court in both Missouri and Kansas and has presented cases before the Missouri Court of Appeals and the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. His case, Hays v. Royer, et al., created a new law in Missouri under the negligent entrustment theory.
